Welcome to ErieShows ("we," "us," or "our"), a platform designed to connect users with local events in Erie, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. Weather Information: View current weather for Erie, PA, sourced from OpenWeatherMap. Note: This reflects today’s weather, not forecasts for event dates, unless otherwise specified. RSVP: Indicate attendance interest ("Going," "Interested," "Not Going"). Comments: Post and view comments on event pages. 4.2 Premium Features By signing up, you agree to our Terms of Service. Your Premium subscription costs $1.99/month, auto-renews monthly, and includes perks listed on main page of erieshows.com. You can cancel anytime via [cancellation method]. 4.3 User Conduct You agree not to: Use the Service for illegal purposes or to violate others’ rights. Post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable. Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service. Misrepresent your identity or affiliation. Use automated tools (e.g., bots) to scrape data without permission. 4.4 Content Ownership Your Content: You retain ownership of content you post (e.g., comments) but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it on the Service. Our Content: Event listings, weather data, and site design are owned by us or our licensors (e.g., OpenWeatherMap, Google). You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.

5. Third-Party Services Google Authentication: We use Google OAuth for login. Your use is subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. 6. Intellectual Property The Service, including its code, design, and branding, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent, except as permitted herein.

7. Privacy Our Privacy Policy (to be created separately) governs how we collect, use, and protect your data, including email, Google profile info, RSVP status, and saved events. By using the Service, you consent to such data practices.

8. Payments and Subscriptions 8.1 Premium Membership Premium features require a subscription fee, payable via Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion. 8.2 Billing Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled. You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the subscription amount. Pricing changes will be communicated in advance. 8.3 Cancellation Cancel your premium membership anytime via your account settings. Access to premium features ends at the billing cycle’s conclusion.

9. Termination By You: You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your account data (e.g., saved events) may be deleted, subject to applicable law.

10. Disclaimers As-Is: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Accuracy: Event details and weather data are sourced from third parties or user submissions. We do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness. Availability: We may modify or discontinue features (e.g., weather display) without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, ErieShows, its affiliates, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (e.g., premium fees).

12. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of others’ rights.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Erie County, Pennsylvania. You waive objections to jurisdiction or venue.
